Lynnfield Ductless Mini-Split Installation

Slim indoor heads tied to a quiet condenser, aimed so the garage bonus room and the far wing keep up with everything else.

Comfort in Rooms Ducts Never Reached

A great many houses in this area were designed around hot water heat. Cast iron radiators or baseboard, a boiler downstairs, zero ductwork. Central air never made sense, so summers meant window units and winters meant one room that stayed stubbornly cool. Mini-splits fix both problems together. A compact condenser outside feeds one or several indoor heads through a narrow refrigerant line that needs only a modest hole through the wall. Every head heats and cools its own zone with independent controls. Nothing to build in the attic, no plaster torn out. Placement makes or breaks it. Mount a head on the wrong wall and it pushes air across the room while the corners stay chilly. Choose one too big for a small bedroom and it cycles on and off constantly, never pulling enough humidity in summer. So each room's heat loss gets measured, furniture and doorways get considered, and heads go where their airflow genuinely covers the space. Wall units are typical, though floor consoles suit rooms with low windows, and ceiling cassettes or slim concealed units can make the equipment nearly disappear. The payoff is a room running on its own schedule, at the same temperature as the rest of the house.

Ductless Work, Itemized

A single head or a full-house layout, these come with it.

  • Zoning plan

Deciding which rooms share a head, which need their own, and how many condensers the plan requires.

  • Head type

Wall, floor console, ceiling cassette or concealed unit, selected for the room and its use.

  • Thoughtful mounting

Heads positioned for full air coverage, clear of furniture and not blowing on beds or sofas.

  • Neat refrigerant runs

Lines and condensate drains threaded through attics, closets or painted exterior covers.

  • Condenser placement

Raised on a stand or bracket above snow, out of the path of roof runoff.

  • Controls lesson

Remotes and wall controllers configured, plus a quick tour of modes, fan speeds and schedules.

Chilly Room to Comfortable Room

  1. Tour the spaces

We visit, measure and hear which rooms bother you and at what times of year.

  2. Draw the zones

A written proposal marks every head, the condensers and the price, along with expected incentives.

  3. Mount and seal

Heads hung, lines run and wall penetrations sealed against drafts and critters.

  4. Run every head

Each zone tested in heating and cooling, then incentive paperwork completed.

What Sets Our Ductless Installs Apart

  • Matched to each room

A head sized for its room runs quietly, efficiently and pulls summer moisture properly.

  • Airflow considered

We think about where the air travels, not merely where a bracket is easy to screw in.

  • Care for your home

Few holes, tidy lines, protected floors. The house still looks like yours when we drive off.

  • Ducts not needed
  • Per-room sizing
  • Concealed lines
  • Warmth and cooling
